Your Google My Business Insights report gives you an overview of how your Google Map listings are doing.

1. Date Picker #
Click on the first date picker to choose a time period to view. The second date picker allows you to choose what time period to compare to.
In the example, we’re viewing results for June 2020 compared to June 2019.
2. Total Views (All Claimed Maps) #
This section reflects how many times your Google Maps listings were viewed. This includes all of your claimed maps.
In the example, all maps for this business were viewed 37,188 times in June 2020, which is an 81.1% increase from the map views in June 2019.
3. Phone Calls (All Claimed Maps) #
This section shows how many phone calls came from your Google Maps listings.
In the example, the company received 1,475 phone calls from map listings in June 2020. This is an increase of 124.5% from June 2019.
4. Website Visits (All Claimed Maps) #
This section shows how many times a customer viewed one of your Google Maps and clicked through to your website.
In the example, there were 872 visits to the company website that stemmed from a Google Map view in June 2020. This is an increase of 182.2% from June 2019.
5. Map Performance Compared to Same Month Last Year #
This section shows more detailed statistics for your Google Maps and compares them to the same month the previous year.
Direct Queries
The number of customers that searched for your company name and then clicked on your map.
Indirect Queries
The number of people that searched anything except your company name and then clicked on your map.
Map Views
The number of times your map was viewed via the ‘Maps’ section of Google. This is likely from customers on their mobile devices.

Search Views
The number of times your map was viewed via the ‘Search’ section of Google.

Website Visits
The number of times customers clicked through to your website via your map listing.

Phone Calls
This is the number of phone calls that resulted from customers viewing your mapping and clicking call now from their mobile device.

Request Directions #
This is the number of people that requested directions to your location via the Directions button on your map listing.
