How to Read Your Facebook Ads Report
1. Facebook Ads Key Performance Indicators
This section shows overall statistics for the ads you’re currently running on Facebook. Use the date picker to view results for a different date range. The date defaults to the previous month.
This is the total amount that was spent on Facebook ads during the selected time frame.
Total Ad Clicks
This is the total number of clicks that all of your ads received in the selected time frame.
CPC By Day
This is the average amount of money you spent to get one click on an ad during the selected time frame. (The lower, the better.)
Total Website Link Clicks
This is the number of times a link to your website was clicked on in your Facebook ads.
This is the number of new page likes you received as a result of Facebook ads during the selected time frame.
This is the number of conversations that were had with customers via Facebook Messenger as a result of Facebook ads during the selected time frame.
This chart shows more statistics for your Facebook ads, including those detailed below.
How many times one of your ads was clicked on.
Impressions – the total number of people who saw your ads.
The average number of times one person saw one of your ads.
The number of times one of your ads were clicked on, reacted to, liked, commented on, etc.
The remaining sections show statistics detailed above for individual campaigns/ads. You can also see what the ad looked like here. This gives us a good idea of what type of ads work well.
