How to Read Your Email Marketing Report

The first section of this report reflects newsletter subscriber behavior.

Date Picker

Use the date picker to view statistics for a specific month or another time period. The date will default to the current month.

Member Count

This reflects the number of people that are subscribed to your newsletter during the selected time period.

Average Unsubscription Rate

This is the percentage of subscribers that unsubscribed from your newsletter during the selected time period. A good number here is less than 1%.

Click Rate

This is the percentage of emails delivered that received a click on one of the links in the newsletter. A good number here is 2% or higher.

Open Rate

This is the percentage of delivered emails that were opened. A good number here is 20% or higher.

Email Campaign Performance #

This section shows statistics for each newsletter that has been sent to customers year-to-date.

Campaign

This shows the month the particular newsletter was sent as well as a brief description of the topics that were covered.

Send Time

This shows what day and time the newsletter was sent.

Emails Sent

This is the number of customers that were sent an email. The more subscribers you have, the higher this number will be.

Total Opens

This is the total number of newsletters that were opened for that particular month.

Open Rate

This shows the percentage of people who opened the newsletter for that particular month.

Total Clicks

This shows the number of links in a newsletter that were clicked upon.

Click Rate

This is the percentage of emails that received a click to one of the links in the email for that particular month.
